I can't even believe it. I feel like I have been on a mission for 2 months and at the same time it feels like years. Kinda crazy that I am already 1/4 the way through. I still have so much that I can improve on. I feel like I have come so far and yet still have such a long way to go. For my six-month mark I got to burn a tie, so that was pretty cool.
This week, we got 3 new investigators, each one of them are super cool. One of them was an old investigator that had dropped the missionaries before us. We felt prompted to text her, she said she didn't want to meet because she had a lot of stuff going on in her life right now. We said okay, just felt like we should have texted you, maybe there was a reason. Long story short, we are meeting with her and our first lesson went really well. I am pretty happy with how the work is going. We have a few super positive investigators right now. We got 2 investigators to church yesterday, and they liked it.
On Thursday we got to go to Strägnäs again to teach an investigator. This time we were able to look around the city. It is a beautiful town! Super cutie little red houses. There is also a Church there from the 1400s. It's kinda cool to look around and see things that my great great grandfather could have saw. It's really pretty crazy. I am sure that I saw the same church building he saw. It is really cool that our church keeps us in connection with our ancestors like that.
My companion and I are doing pretty well. He is from Idaho Falls, Idaho. He has been on his mission for a little more than a year. His father is from Russia so that is pretty cool. He is really great at talking to people. I good solid teacher. We have been getting a lot of new investigators so that is good. We continue to run every morning and on the days we don't run we do Yoga. Which is actually a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. Eskilstuna is a good area. There are a lot of weird statues and things. One thing I learned about Sweden is that they have got a lot of money to spend on random statues and light things.
I hope you all continue to do well!
