grass. They are a really pretty purple color. The trees haven't bloomed yet however. Whoa, I just realized that a flower in Swedish is en Bloom, and we say flowers are blooming. (Mind Blow) Sorry that was just kinda for me... Anyway, we have also had a lot of rain this week so hopefully the trees will start blooming soon.
On Monday we had a family history activity and the Branch president and his wife got really excited about the family history work for the Goffe line. They started helping me go through all the old Church books. They helped me with the old cursive Swedish. It was really cool, we were able to find some documents about Peter Erick Goffe being in a place called Lilla Malma, as well as a Document that had his father’s name spelled as Simon Petri Gauffi. So that was cool. They took some information said they would keep looking for some
information. Then on Sunday he came in with a picture of the House that the Goffes lived in before going to America! Way cool! They told me it wasn't far from here, so if it's still standing they wanted to take me to it! Way cool! They were super nice to go through all the old Church books to find all that stuff. I don't even know how they got a picture of the house. How cool is it that I get to be in the same place that my ancestors once lived?! The Church is Awesome!
This week we have been doing a lot of Contacting. Which is always fun. We found two Swedish guys yesterday that were super cool. They aren't religious at all but they were pretty interested. They were blown away by the fact that we could speak Swedish and we had only been here for 8 months. So that was nice! One of them has been texting us non-stop since we meet with him. We are going to meet with them on Wednesday so hopefully everything goes well with that. We lost our Baptismal date with Henok. He just droped off the map for 2 weeks and haven't heard from him. So that's hard. But I think this is gonna be a good transfer.
Swedish Word of the Week;
Bloomor- Flowers
