We got two new investigators who are super cool. They are a brother and sister from Iran and they are about 30 years old. We met them twice this week with a Persian speaking translator and they are super positive. The thing is that they can only meet at 7:00 in the morning, so we have to wake up a lot earlier so we can be at the Church in time to teach them. However, it has been worth it to teach them. This week we have also been teaching our investigators a lot about the Plan of Salvation. That has been super fun because every time I teach it the spirit just reminds me about how true it really is. So that has been fun.
This week the district meeting topic was "Be a Finisher". We were up in Borlänge for their district meeting and we had a really good discussion about how we can finish off the transfer right. The whole time I was thinking about how we could finish the transfer off great, when I realized that it wasn't just about finishing off the transfer right, but about finishing my mission right. I think it was then that I realized just how little time I really had left. So that was freaky. That night I just prayed and thanked God for the time that I still had. At this point it is a matter of sprinting to the finish line. So I am very determined to give it everything I have got these last weeks.
The Beckstrands left for America and President Youngberg arrived. I have still not been able to meet him, but I did get to talk to him on the phone for about two minutes. He sounds like a nice guy. We called him to welcome him to the Zone because he lives in our Zone. Haha. We will be having a meet and greet with him on Wednesday. So that will be interesting to see what kind of personality he has and his ideas for the mission.
Anyway, I hope you all have a great 4th of July. This year will defiantly be a better 4th of July because I will be with other Americans. I think we might do something. Anyway, Happy 4th of July!
Sorry not a whole lot of picture this week so please enjoy some pictures of my apartment.
