Well this week I had a super cool experience in Church on Sunday. It was fast Sunday and I was just kind of fasting for a miracle, just because we don't have really any investigators progressing. Well while I was getting the Sacrament ready when I hear a voice that I didn't recognize at Church. I looked to see a kid who looked like about 19 or 18 talking with one of the members. I then hear him say, "Kan jag träffa missionärer?" I then introduced myself and he says that he was an exchange student in Salt Lake City and wanted to give us his number so we could meet with him! He said that he had read parts of the Book of Mormon and talked with a lot of people there about the Church. Apparently he now has several friends on missions now. Well, I called him last night and we will be meeting with him Tomorrow! He sounds super positive, so hope everything goes well with him. I have never had a Swedish person refer himself like that. I keep you in touch about that!
So life is doing pretty good right now. My companion is a funny guy. We sometimes pretend like we are preachers and yell at each other about how the Bible is everything we need and how we are saved through faith alone. Haha. He really likes to talk all the time and I honestly can't get a second of quite time. Haha. He never lets me sleep at night because he just wants to have a conversation. But it really has been a fun time. There is definitely not a dull moment with this guy.
So to answer Olivia's question to my Book of Mormon Studies I just got done reading the Book of Mormon with the Institute Manuel and that was super fun. We have also been listening to Elder Holland’s "Christ and the New Covenant" book on tape which has a lot of great insights. Sorry I realized that we don't have a lot of photos for this week. But I do have one photo that me and Elder Higgins took today. There isn't a lot to do here in Växjö so our P-day activity was to go to a coffee house and chill like normal Swedes. Don't worry we didn't drink any coffee. Have a good week everyone!
