Grattis på Födelsedagen Farmor!
This week was pretty good! We got two new investigators. Both are super positive. One we met on Thursday in Strängnäs! That's crazy that I was just in Strängnäs and that is where Gustaf Erik Goffe was born! Super cool! I will be going out to Strängnäs a few more times to meet with our investigator so I will have to look around for some Goffe’s! So this Investigator we meet in Strängnäs, he's a super cool kid! The missionaries first meet him on the train. They contacted him on the train because he was reading his Bible (Which nobody does in Sweden). He said that he had missed his first train so he thinks that it was meant to be to meet the missionaries. He has a Book of Mormon and believes it's true. He hasn't meet with the missionaries till now, because he lives in this really rich place about an hour and a half outside Eskilstuna. So we taught him a lesson on Thursday and it went really well! He wants to learn more and is super excited by it all! He showed up in a white shirt and tie! We also had a briefcase! Super cool. The only problem is that he is 15. So hopefully we meet his parents as well.
The other new investigator we got is a wife of a less active member. The husband said that he wanted to be sealed to her in the temple, so she agreed to let us start teaching her! Super cool! Apparently she has had a baptismal date before, so we will have to see why she didn't go through with it. We will just have to make sure that joining the church is something she wants to do, and not just something her husband wants her to do.
On Saturday the members invited us to go to the temple with them and also some new converts. It was a lot of fun! I always love the temple. I got to do a session in Swedish, well I did it in English. but I got to listen to it in Swedish and English. It was a lot of fun.
February is going to be a great month! Apparently it is the coldest month of the year which is hard to believe because it's been really warm the past week and all the snow is melted. Anyway I hope you are all doing well! Life is good here in Sweden!
