On Saturday I was able to go to the Temple with a convert who was baptized about a year ago. I was really fun! I was able to go through the temple entirely in Swedish! So that was super cool. We then were invited to the sealing of a couple in the Branch. It was super cool to see a sealing! It was so beautiful. It really made me appreciate the eternal family that we have. I also found my 7 generation grandfather! His name is Daniel Andersson Goffe! He was married to his wife Maria Godou Simonsdotter in 1708 in Västra Vingåker. We think that he was the first one to take the name Goffe and He might have been the one to come to Sweden from Belgium. But we aren't sure yet. The women he married has a French name and at the time there was a War in Europe were France, Belgium, and Sweden were in an alliance. So there might be more to that. But again it's all speculation. However, it's super cool because I can do his temple work here in Sweden! It's way cool because now we are in the 1600s of the Goffe's! How great is it that we all get to be together! So I guess that makes everything seem a lot smaller when we think of everything in terms of Eternity.
Well I was able to buy new shoes today and it feels great! I hope you are all have a better week!
