This week we also had our zone conference with our new mission president, that was really great actually. He is going to do a good job. We talked a lot about following the following the spirit a lot more when doing missionary work. I think that it will be something that the mission really needs. We are at really good place right now in the mission about obedience and working hard, so it will be good to focus on that again.
Then on Wednesday and Thursday I went on splits to Stockholm. I am telling you Stockholm is a beast that I just don't know how to conquer. We get a few potential investigators while I was there but people are just really hard to talk to there. It's mostly because everyone is in a rush. But it was fun to go into Stockholm and contact there again. Then on Friday we got to go to an Ethiopian restaurant with a member it was cool because I didn't realize what Ethiopian food was. It turns out it is delicious. It was like this sourdough bread with lamb and all kinds of spices. Super good!
Well I am still working hard I promise. That fact that I am going home next week hasn't really set in yet. So that will be weird. As far as getting ready to go home. My plans are currently to get home spend time with you all. Go to the temple. Work on the farm. See if I can get a calling to be a temple worker for a couple weeks before school starts. Find a job. Get ready to start going to school. So that's the plan.
Well I don't have a lot more to say so I guess I will just end with my Testimony:
I know that God is our Father in Heaven and that he lives. How great knowledge we have to know that he excises and that he loves us. He rejoices with us when have success and he cries with us when we feel pain or sorrow. I know that he answers out prayers. There have been a few times in my life where I thought I might have heard him whisper to me. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God, and that our Father in Heaven continues to care for us through prophets and scriptures. As latter day saints "we believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things". I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. He lives and through him we can live again.
See you next week.
