The next day was the big day where we met our trainers and get our area. We met at a church and they gave us presentation of the mission and the rules. Then they gave us a call letter. It had our area and our trainers name in it. It was like opening my mission call all over again. My trainers name is Äldste Falkner he is from London England. He's pretty awesome; his British accent is so thick it's great. He reminds me of some British actor that I haven't figured out yet. My area is the Sundsvall III mission. It's about 3 hours north of Stockholm. It's one of the most beautiful areas in Sweden. It’s surrounded by trees and mountains. The city center is a classic Swedish style. My apartment is apparently one of the nicer ones too. My district also shares a car, so I guess watching that video wasn't a complete waste of time. I have two sisters and two other elders in my district. They are all pretty cool.
So already I've helped teach 8 lessons! It's crazy because I just jumped right into missionary work. My trainer, Äldste Falkner was already teaching 3 investigators. The First one I help teach was Per. Per is a really awesome guy, he got in an accident at one point of his life which gave him brain damage. So he can't walk and his speech is a little off. He is a really faith full guy. We have taught him all the lessons. He can't be baptized because he is still drinking Coffee and Snooz, (Chewing Tabaco). So we just need to help him with that. The Second investigator is Sven, he has been taught all the lessons also and wants to be baptized, but he can't because he is living sombo. Combo means he is living with his girlfriend. They have children which makes it hard because he either has to move out or get married. His girlfriend doesn’t want to get married or join the church. Last investigator is an interesting one. His name is David. He has been seeing the missionaries for a year now. Not as an investigator, but just as a friend. He just likes the missionaries. He has said very clearly that he doesn’t want to be Mormon. He is a motivational speaker at schools. He is a really nice guy. He is against bullying so we showed him the Bullying video made by the church. He then prayed for us, which is the first time ever in two years of the missionaries seeing him. Progress!
