HAPPY BIRTHDAY OLIVIA! Sorry this is a little late. We were down in Malmö for a Zone volleyball tournament. It was super fun, but it takes us two hours to travel down there. It was a lot of fun to just wear normal clothes and chill with all the other missionaries and play volleyball in the sand. We had a little BBQ as well so that was super cool. We had a lot of laughs and good times. I have been out on the mission long enough now that I know mostly everyone in the Zone in one way or another. So it was great to be able to talk with everyone. In Växjö we don't see all the other missionaries as much as everyone else, so it was cool to be able to have a fun P-Day. The missionaries here are just the best!
This week seems to have gone by very slowly. But at the same time very fast. Our week started off alright, we made the mistake of swinging by a less active that lived 45 minutes away in the middle of a forest. But it was alright because we got some pretty cool photos. We were then able to meet with Etinosa, who is our investigator with a baptismal date. He is actually a really cool guy! We taught him the Gospel of Jesus Christ and it went super well. He also came to Church this week! He is just a super nice and happy guy. Hopefully everything will go as planned with him. We got a few other investigators this week as well. So hopefully they will all do well as well.
This week I went to Karlskrona for splits with the Elders there. It was a lot of fun to be able to help them out there. Karlskrona is a beautiful city. It has a lot of old buildings as well as sail boats every were. While I was in Karlskrona I got to conduct my first baptismal interview! It was a very uplifting experience. It is cool to be able to talk with someone who is on their way to baptism. It's wonderful to hear her testimony of the principles the missionaries had been teaching her. The interview went well and she will be getting baptized this week! I think in the interview I was sweating more than she was because I was hoping I was saying all the questions right. But she was super nice and it all went well!
Well this week I will be heading into my one-year mark. It is crazy. I really can't believe it's been a year. Like I feel ´like so many things have happened and yet at the same time it feels like just yesterday I was home. A mission has been such an amazing experience. Yeah there has been some days (many days) when I wake up and don't want to be a missionary. But once I start working, and putting my faith in God, the day always becomes great. There are so many people that I am so happy that I have met. Yeah the work is hard here but it has been worth it! I am ready to keep working hard, I am ready to keep meeting new people. I am sure that these next few months are going to be just as awesome. I'm not tired of this work yet!
Thank you all for everything you do!
