We had a lot of progress with our investigators this week! Especially with our investigator John. John is an investigator that I have been teaching my entire time here. He has been a little unsure about Baptism into our Church just because he wants to be sure that this is the right thing to do. Well this week he told us that he decided to fast and pray about whether he should be baptized into our Church. He said he got an answer. That he "must" be baptized in this Church. It was great that he got that answer. We just need to get him to Church now. We are also just having a fun time teaching all of our investigators.
On Friday we had district meeting and for district meeting this week we went contacting! This time it was a little different because we rapped up some Book of Mormons and gave out candy canes to the people who listened to our message about Christ. There were a lot of people out so we were all really able to talk with a lot of people. We then had a Secret Santa gift exchange within the district. I got an awesome Scarf from Sister Cuppiccio which was super nice.
Then on Saturday we celebrated Christmas Eve! Christmas Eve is the big day here in Sweden. It snowed all day on Christmas Eve and it was beautiful! We had a snowball fight and played in the snow for a bit. We were invited to a members house for dinner. It was great! They had just build a new house that was really nice outside of the city. They had the cutest family. We had the usual ham and potatoes for dinner. But we also had salmon and red beet salad. Super good food. Then Jul Tomten came! The members were so nice that they bought us all Christmas presents. One of which was a really nice dalahast with the Swedish flag on it. Super nice.
On Christmas day we had Church which was really great. We read from the Book of Mormon and Bible and they mixed them together so perfectly. They asked if each of the missionaries could bare their testimonies of the savior at the end and it went really well. We Skyped home and played Risk. After that we went to another member's house for Christmas. We had Turkey, potatoes and apple pie! We then watched Frozen. Then to top off the week we saw some Northern Lights! All and all it was a really good week. It was a great Christmas! I hope your Christmas a great as well.
