So I was asked to be an "investigator" for some other Swedes. That means instead of teaching I get to be taught. It's way fun because I get to act! I guess they knew I loved acting so they asked me to be an investigator so they we have more practice teaching teaching other people. How I play an investigator is they told me to pick someone I know personally who is not a member and portray them. It's way fun being in an investigator's shoes, it really helps me as a missionary.
This week was a little scary because one of the guys in my district hurt his foot. It was a pre-existing injury, but he hurt it again playing basketball. He went to the doctor and they said he might have to go home and get surgery that would take 4 months until he could go back to the mission. They told him to get an MRI on Tuesday on his foot... We won't find out until tomorrow if he can stay or not. So on tuesday night all the guys in my district gave him a blessing. It was really cool to be able to be apart of that. Its amazing that week can help each other out like that. I am thankful for the priesthood power we all have to be able to give each other support and comfort. Each day at the MTC I get new perspective of Joseph Smith, Christ and our lives. I learn of the many sacrifices people make for this church. I meet missionaries from Africa, China, and South America. Many of them without a blessing from their family or have little money. But they are here to serve their brothers and sister and bring them to salvation. I count my blessings everyday here. I am so happy for the life I have.
