Elder Carter is super awesome! He is 20 and from Layton Utah. He is super prepared to be on a mission. He is a nice guy and a hard worker so it been going really well. On our plane ride up to Luleå he was talking to a guy on the plane about the gospel. On Thursday we traveled down to Skelleftå for district meeting which is about a total of 3 hours of travel down and back. On our way back to Luleå, Elder Carter was talking to a lady on the bus talking about the restoration. So he is already working pretty hard! It's going to be a good next 12 weeks. He definitely keeps me on my toes! Well we have meet with a lot of new investigators this week and some of them were kinda crazy... But training has been going really well so far!
On Sunday we traveled down to Umeå for districts conference. Which was fun to see some of the members from Sundsvall. It was about a 4-hour bus ride down to Umeå. Again, a lot of traveling. Not as much as my companion however, we added it up and he has had about a total of 30 hours just traveling this week! So pretty crazy! District Conference was fun though, the Beckstrand’s were there and gave talks. I talked to my old Sundsvall friends. Then we drove back to Luleå with tires on our laps because some members gave us a ride and having tires on our laps seemed a lot better than taking a bus! It was just a great week end.
Well, life is going great right now! The missionary work is going forward here in Boden! It's been cold, but the snow will be coming this week so that will really warm things up. I hope you are doing well back home in crazy old America. Well, I hope you are all staying warm! Have a wonderful week!
