As for me, it's been an okay week. We lost our baptize date with Behzad. Apparently, his brother and Father did not like the idea of him becoming a Mormon. Which is really hard, because I know he wants to join the church. So that was rough to hear. I realized that Satan works really hard to get people not to be Baptized, because no matter how positive someone’s life is, there is always something standing in the way. It's been super frustrating.
Glad Påsk! Easter is coming up and I just want to let you all know how grateful I am to have a knowledge of our Savior in my life. It is so great being able to trust in Him every single day. Every time I have turned to Him in my life he has been there. I wish I had remembered Him more before I had left on my mission, but now I am grateful to have His companionship every day. Turn to Him whenever possible.
Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. -- Matthew 11: 28-30
Also can I recommend a book called Following the Light of Christ into His Presents by John M. Pontus. I just found it in my apartment and dedicated to read it every night before I go to bed, and HOLY COW, it's amazing. It talks a lot about recognizing the voice Spirit in our life. Super good read.
Also for this Easter Week can I recommend a CD called The Lamb of God by Rob Gardner. It's kinda like a play so you will have to listen through the whole CD in one sitting to get the full effect. It recounts the events of the final days of the life of Jesus Christ through the eyes of those who loved Him and knew Him best: Peter, John, Thomas, Mary and Martha of Bethany, Mary Magdalene, and His mother Mary. Here is a little preview I found: https://youtu.be/IvvnpJ0nE1A?list=PL4D5A989484CE9A75
But you have to listen to it all the way through!
Anyway, I love you all! I get to go to Stockholm on Wednesday so that will be fun! Talk to you all next week!
